Blackhawks center Artem Anisimov will not travel to Winnipeg for Tuesday’s game against the Jets because he’s in concussion protocol, the team announced Monday morning.

Anisimov took a hit from Canadiens defenseman Shea Weber in the opening minute of the third period Sunday night. Anisimov left the ice under his own power and did not return after the hit. He had three shots on goal and one hit in 10:35 minutes of total ice time in Chicago’s 3-2 loss at the United Center.

The 30-year-old Anisimov has six goals and nine assists in 30 games this season while playing throughout the lineup down the middle.

Head coach Jeremy Colliton also said Monday there are now plans to make a roster move by calling up a forward from the AHL. Brendan Perlini, who was a healthy scratch Sunday for the first time since being traded to the Blackhawks, will likely draw back into the lineup.

Perlini has no points, three shots, a minus-6 and a 38.21-percent Corsi in six games for Chicago. If the 22-year-old does play he’ll no longer be exempt from waivers.
