Chicago Blackhawks will have two players and a prospect in action Monday at the World Championship in Denmark.
All three will be in the same game as Tomas Jurco (Slovakia) will face off against Artem Anisimov and prospect Maxim Shalunov (Russia). Anisimov leads the trio with six points (two goals, four assists), while Shalunov has four points (two goals, two assists) and Jurco two goals.
Russia is in second place in Group A with 13 points — four points back of Sweden, who can clinch the top spot in the group with a win by Slovakia. Sweden and Russia face off in the game group game Tuesday. Slovakia is in fifth place with eight points to trail Switzerland by one point for the final playoff spot.
The other NHL Network game features Canada vs. Latvia. Canada, like Switzerland, holds a one-point edge over Latvia for the fourth spot in Group B.
