The expansion Vegas Golden Knights look to go up 2-0 in the Stanley Cup Final against the Washington Capitals in Game 2 on Wednesday at T-Mobile Arena. Teams that take a 2-0 lead in the Cup Final are 46-5 when it comes to winning the Cup.

The Golden Knights held on for a 6-4 win over the Capitals in Game 1.

It was a wild Game 1 after both team’s goaltenders came into the series hot. Vegas’ Marc-Andre Fleury had four shutouts and a .947 save percentage in his first 15 games in the playoffs. Washington netminder Brayden Holtby came in off back-to-back shutouts against Tampa Bay in the Eastern Conference Final.

Washington has found success this playoffs after dropping Game 1. The Capitals fell behind 0-2 to Columbus in the quarterfinals before winning four straight to take the series. They also dropped the series opener to two-time reigning Cup champion Pittsburgh before rallying to win the series, 4-2.
