Seven Chicago Blackhawks players and one prospect will be in action Monday at the World Championship.
The first set of the games is highlighted by the United States (Alex DeBrincat, Patrick Kane, Connor Murphy and Jordan Oesterle) against Germany (Dominik Kahun). Kane had an assist in U.S.’ 4-0 over Denmark on Saturday. Germany enters the game after a 5-4 shooutout win to Norway.
Artem Anisimov and Maxim Shalunov will suit up for Russia against Belarus. Anisimov had a goal, an assist and won 9 of 11 faceoffs in Russia’s 7-0 win over Austria. The Russians have yet to surrender a goal in the tournament.
In the second set of games, defenseman Erik Gustafsson and Sweden will face France. Gustafsson had two shots on goal in 14:42 as Sweden defeated Czech Republic 3-2 on Saturday.
Former Hawks
Forward Peter Regin and Denmark will take on Canada. He has yet to record a point in two games.
