NHL: Chicago Blackhawks at Columbus Blue Jackets Russell LaBounty-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Blackhawks open their preseason schedule at 6 p.m. Tuesday against the Blue Jackets in Columbus. Cam Ward and Collin Delia will be Chicago’s goaltenders for the game.

Another important non-baseball game will be played Tuesday as the Chicago Red Stars face the North Carolina Courage in the NWSL semifinal at 8 p.m. in Portland.
