2019 Blackhawks training camp: John Quenneville assigned to AHL

The Blackhawks assigned forward John Quenneville to the Rockford IceHogs in the AHL after he cleared waivers.

Chicago acquired Quenneville at the NHL draft in June from the Devils in exchange for forward John Hayden. Quenneville, a 2014 first-round pick, had one goal in 19 NHL games last season and 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists) in 37 AHL games for the Binghamton Devils.

Quenneville has been sidelined with a right hip injury during most of Chicago’s training camp.
