2019 U18 World Championship: How to watch medal games

Sunday is the final day for the under-18 World Championship with two medal games at Fjällräven Center in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden.

Canada will face the United States in the bronze-medal game at 8:30 a.m. Central time, followed by Sweden and Russia meeting in the gold-medal game at 12:30 p.m. Both games will be broadcasted on NHL Network.

It’s the first time since 2016 that the Americans will not play in the gold-medal game. They have medaled at every tournament dating back to 2004 and only won bronze twice in the span in 2008 and 2016. Canada will be seeking its first U18 men’s Worlds medal since taking bronze in 2015.

Russia is 3-for-10 in gold-medal games with its last gold in 2007, while Sweden is 0-for-5.
