2019 World Championship: May 13 schedule, TV, game thread

The fourth day of the preliminary round Monday at the World Championship will have 10 Blackhawks players, including two prospects.

Both Group A games will be televised on NHL Network, starting with wingers Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane (USA) taking on defenseman Henri Jokiharju and goaltending prospect Kevin Lankinen (Finland). Forward Dylan Strome (Canada) then meets hosts Slovakia.

DeBrincat and Kane share the team lead in points at three, with DeBrincat having three goals and Kane with a goal and two assists. Lankinen has made at least 20 saves in his two wins. Jokiharju hasn’t record a point, yet.

In Group B play, center Artem Anisimov (Russia) faces off against prospect Dominik Kubalik (Czech Republic) then defenseman Erik Gustafsson and forward Marcus Kruger (Sweden) take on winger Andreas Martinsen (Norway).

Kubalik’s five points (two goals, three assists) put him in a five-way tie for the tournament lead in scoring. Martinsen has two assists, while Anisimov and Kruger have each scored a goal.
