2019 World Championship: May 14 schedule, TV, game thread

The Blackhawks will have German winger Dominik Kahun and possibly two prospects in action during Day 5 of the World Championship on Tuesday.

In Group A play, Denmark and prospect Mathias From will face Great Britain. From has yet to play in the Danes two previous tournament games. Great Britain is in last place in the group, while Denmark is in sixth.

The second game features Kahun and Germany taking on France, which will not be broadcasted by NHL Network. Kahun has one assist in two tournament outings for Germany.

Italy, who has been outscored 17-0 through two games, faces off against Latvia to start Group B play. Prospect Philipp Kurashev and Switzerland meet Austria. Kurashev, a 2018 fourth-round pick, has two assists in as many games. The Austria-Switzerland game will be broadcasted on NHL Network.
