The Blackhawks will have five players, including two prospects, playing in medal games Sunday at the World Championship in Slovakia.
The day starts with the bronze-medal game between forward Artem Anisimov and Russia against prospect Dominik Kubalik and the Czech Republic. Anisimov has three goals and five points. The 23-year-old Kubalik is one the Czechs young stars with five goals and 11 points.
The gold-medal game will see forward Dylan Strome and Canada facing off against Finland, who have defenseman Henri Jokiharju and goalie prospect Kevin Lankinen. All three players are making their senior-level debuts in the tournament. Strome has a goal and four assists, while Jokiharju has recorded three helpers from the blue line.
