The Blackhawks host the Golden Knights on Saturday at the United Center.

The IceHogs started their three-game Texas road trip Friday with a 4-3 shootout loss to the Texas Stars in Cedar Park.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Fire traded the No. 5 overall pick to Colorado for the No. 15 pick and $100K in allocation. Chicago then flipped the No. 15 pick to Minnesota for $50K in allocation. The Fire ended Day 1 of the MLS SuperDraft at McCormick Place by trading their second round pick to the New York Red Bulls for a player-to-be-named later.

The Bears hired former Colts head coach Chuck Pogano has their new defensive coordinator. The Bulls fell 146-109 to the Warriors. The Cubs and White Sox avoided arbitration with seven and four players, respectively.
