Blackhawks prospect Evan Barratt scored an incredible highlight-reel shorthanded goal for Penn State against Ohio State on Saturday night.
Barratt, who was drafted in the third round of the 2017 NHL draft by Chicago, took the puck from the blue line and split two Buckeye defenders before sliding the puck into the net to tie the game 1-1.
Barratt also had an assist and four shots on goal in the Nittany Lions’ 6-4 loss to the Buckeyes.
The Penn State sophomore had 12 goals and 16 assists in 17 games prior to playing for the United States at the under-20 World Junior Championship tournament. He had one goal in seven games as the Americans claimed silver for their fourth consecutive tournament medal.
