Dominik Kubalik scored his first career NHL goal for the Blackhawks against the Sharks on Thursday at the United Center.

Brandon Saad sent a pass across the crease to Kubalik, who fired a one-timer from the lower right circle past Aaron Dell.

Kubalik was named the National League MVP in Switzerland after leading the league in scoring with 57 points (25 goals, 32 assists) in 50 games for HC Ambrì-Piotta. His 12 points (six goals, six assists) with the Czech Republic national team tied for fourth among all skaters at the World Championship before he signed a one-year deal with the Blackhawks.
