The Blackhawks fell 4-3 to the Flyers on Friday at 02 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic. The IceHogs also dropped their season opener 3-2 to the Iowa Wild.

Chicago prospects Victor Ejdsell (Farjestad BK), Jakub Galvas (Jukurit), Roope Laavainen (HPK), Antti Saarela (Ilves), Max Shalunov (CSKA Moscow) and Michal Teply (Winnipeg) are scheduled to play Saturday.

On the NCAA side, Parker Foo (Union), Ian Mitchell (Denver), Josiah Slavin (Colorado College) and Alex Vlasic and Jake Wise (Boston) begin their seasons. Foo will play against Vlasic and Wise.
