The Blackhawks will have two prospects playing in each game of the first set of games Saturday at the 2020 World Junior Championship in the Czech Republic.
Left wing Michal Teply and the Czechs will play Slovakia. Forward Antti Saarela and Finland will face off against Germany, which will be televised on NHL Network.
Finland will be without its No. 1 center for the remainder of the #WorldJuniors. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see #Blackhawks prospect Antti Saarela play at center the rest of the way after being the third-line right wing Thursday.— Brandon (@brandonmcain) December 27, 2019
