Artemi Panarin scored two goals and an assist to lead the Blue Jackets to a 5-2 win over the Blackhawks on Saturday night at the United Center. The Blackhawks host the Senators — a team people should want to win because the Avalanche hold the rights to Ottawa’s first-round pick — Monday night.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Steel’s 14-game home winning streak came to an end in a 7-2 loss to the U.S. National Team Development Program on Saturday.

The Fire played to a 1-1 draw in a preseason friendly against rival Columbus on Saturday at Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina.
