Patrick Kane scored two goals, including the overtime game-winner, to lead the Blackhawks to a 5-4 win over the Red Wings on Wednesday night at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

Luke Johnson scored with 2 seconds left in overtime to lift the IceHogs to a 3-2 victory over the Griffins in Grand Rapids.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Fire conceded a goal in the 84th minute to MLS newcomer FC Cincinnati in a preseason friendly in South Carolina.
