Jonathan Toews scored in overtime to extend the Blackhawks season-long win streak to six games with a 4-3 victory over the Canucks on Thursday at the United Center. The Blackhawks are off for two days before hosting the Red Wings on Sunday afternoon.

The IceHogs start their home back-to-back Friday against Tucson.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Fire acquired an international roster spot for the upcoming season from Minnesota United in exchange for $125,000 in General Allocation Money and $75,000 in Targeted Allocation Money. The Bulls visit the Nets on Friday in Brooklyn.
