The Rockford IceHogs were officially eliminated from Calder Cup playoffs contention with a 3-0 loss to the Iowa Wild on Saturday in Des Moines. The IceHogs close out their season Sunday against the Milwaukee Admirals at BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, Sam Kerr scored the first goal of the NWSL season in the Red Stars’ 1-1 draw at North Carolina.

The Cubs fell 6-5 to the Angels and the White were shut out 5-0 by the Yankees. Both the Cubs and White Sox play Sunday.
