Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Fire scored three second-half goals en route to a 4-1 win over the Rapids. Yuki Nagasato scored two goals, including one in the 90th minute, to help the Red Stars draw 4-4 with Portland.

The Cubs were shut out 6-0 by the Diamondbacks. The White Sox’s game against the Tigers was postponed to Aug. 6 due to inclement weather. The Cubs and White Sox are scheduled to play Sunday.
