Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane set a new career-high in points at 107 after a goal and an assist against the Blues on Wednesday at the United Center in Chicago.

Kane assisted on Jonathan Toews’ goal in the first period then went top-shelf with a backhanded shot of his own in the third to set a new career high point total in his 79th game this season. He has 42 goals and 65 assists this season. His previous career high was set during his 2015-16 MVP season, when he tallied 106 points (46 goals, 60 assists) in 82 contests.

Kane’s record setting performance comes two days after Toews also set a new career-high in points.

Denis Savard holds the franchise record for the most points in a season with 131 points in 1987-88. Savard also has the second (121 in 82-83), third (119 in 81-82) and fourth (116 in 85-86) highest season point totals.
