The Blackhawks dropped their season finale 5-2 to the Predators on Saturday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Chicago will have its season-ending press conferences Sunday at the United Center.

Peter Holland and Jacob Nilsson both scored in a shootout for a 4-3 win for the Rockford IceHogs over the Texas Stars on Saturday at H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas. Rockford is in seventh place in the Central Division at 78 points, and is three points back of the fourth and final playoff spot.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, Jason Heyward homered twice to lift the Cubs to a 14-8 win over Brewers to snap a six-game skid. The White were blasted 9-2 to the Mariners. Both Chicago teams will play Sunday.
