Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Sky traded Alaina Coates to the Lynx for a 2020 third-round draft pick. Javier Baez hit a pinch-hit single to lift the Cubs over the Phillies 3-2. The White Sox were sent down by Justin Verlander and the Astros 5-1.
