Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Red Stars dropped 1-0 game on the road to the Utah Royals.Kyle Hendricks threw a 81-pitch shutout for the Cubs against the Cardinals in a 4-0 win. The White Sox fell 6-1 to the Red Sox.

The Cubs and White Sox both continue their series Saturday. The Fire visit LAFC.
