The Blues and Stars will meet in a Game 7 for the second time in three years Tuesday in St. Louis.
In 2016, the Blues won 6-1 at Dallas to reach the Western Conference Final for the first time 2001. This year, however, the game is in St. Louis, where the Blues are 2-4 at home in the playoffs.
Dallas goaltender Ben Bishop is expected to start despite leaving Game 6 after taking a puck to his collarbone. That’s good news for the Stars as the St. Louis native has not allowed a goal in two Game 7 starts in his career and even has two assists in the decisive game.
It’s the fourth Game 7 of this year’s playoffs and the first of two in the second round. The Blues-Stars series winner will play either the Avalanche or Sharks, who play Game 7 on Wednesday night.
