The Bruins seek a 3-1 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final against the Blues when they play Game 4 on Monday at Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
Boston went 4-for-4 on the power play in its 7-2 victory Game 3. Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak, Torey Krug and Marcus Johansson each scored on the man-advantage. St. Louis has lacked discipline in the series with 14 minors.
The Bruins jumped out to a 4-0 first-period lead and added another midway in the second period to chase rookie Jordan Binnington for Jake Allen. Krug was the first player in Boston franchise history to score four points in a Cup Final game.
Boston defenseman John Moore, a Chicago Steel alum, returned in Game 3 for the first time since Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final. The Winnetka, Illinois native had two hits and blocked one shot in 13:09 of ice time. He has no points in six playoff games.
