Elsewhere in Chicago sports, Courtney Vandersloot led the Sky past the Liberty 99-83 at home. Jason Heyward hit a tiebreaking two-out RBI single in the eighth inning for the Cubs to edge the Pirates 4-3.

On Saturday, the Fire host FC Cincinnati. The Red Stars visit the Houston Dash. The Cubs and White Sox both play.
