The Chicago Pro Hockey League’s second season will begin Wednesday with five Blackhawks players and three prospects in action at Fifth Third Bank Arena.
The first game in the professional division will start at 6:20 p.m., with 2018 first-rounders Nicolas Beaudin and Adam Boqvist (Warrior Hockey) going against Alex DeBrincat, Patrick Kane and Connor Murphy (Jack Phelan Auto Group).
Former Blackhawks Brandon Bollig, a 2013 Stanley Cup champion, and Adam Clendening (Blue Jackets) and Brandon Pirri (Golden Knights) will also skate for Warrior Hockey, while United States women’s national team captain Kendall Coyne Schofield will team up with the three Blackhawks players.
The second pro game will have 2019 second-round draft pick Alex Vlasic (Chem Station/Delaney) against Dylan Strome, Jonathan Toews and IceHogs forward Terry Broadhurst (Central Wealth Management).
Former Blackhawk Ryan Hartman, who signed a two-year deal worth $3.8 million with the Wild earlier this month, will join Vlasic. Two other former Blackhawks in Vinnie Hinostroza (Coyotes) and Scott Darling (free agent) along with ex-prospects Anthony Louis (free agent) and Alex Broadhurst (free agent).
Games begin at 5 p.m. every Wednesday until Aug. 21. A $5 ticket provides admission for all pro, development and women’s games. Pre-sale tickets end at 11 p.m. Tuesday for each week, and will also be available to purchase at the arena.
