Delia will be the No. 1 starter for the Blackhawks’ AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs, next season after Chicago signed free agent Robin Lehner to join Corey Crawford as the team’s second NHL netminder.
Delia went 6-4-3 with a 3.61 goals-against average and .908 save percentage in 16 NHL games last season during his call up while Crawford was out with a concussion. Delia, an undrafted free agent signee, was 13-8-4 with a 2.48 GAA and .922 save percentage in 26 AHL games last season.
