Adam Boqvist, Kirby Dach to represent Blackhawks at 2019 NHLPA Rookie Showcase

The event will be Aug. 25 in Arlington, Virginia.

The Blackhawks last two first-round picks in Adam Boqvist and Kirby Dach will be among 28 NHL prospects attending the 11th annual NHL Players’ Association Rookie Showcase, the NHLPA announced Wednesday night. The event will be Aug. 25 at MedStar Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Virginia.

Boqvist’s older brother, Jesper, will be one of three Devils prospects attending the event as well.

The Rookie Showcase is an opportunity for Upper Deck to capture photographs and video of the up-and-comers in the NHL, with the content collected used for memorabilia including Upper Deck trading cards and digital video posts. The event is not expected to be open to the public.
