The Blackhawks announced their giveaway nights for the upcoming 2019-20 season Thursday, including their five anniversary nights for the 2010 Stanley Cup championship team.
Chicago will drop the puck on the celebration Sept. 15 at its Training Camp Festival at the United Center with a Patrick Kane bobblehead of his iconic goal celebration from Game 6 of the 2010 Stanley Cup Final.
The five “2010 Anniversary Night” games will also have bobblehead giveaways to honor marquee moments from the season of Marian Hossa, Duncan Keith, Jonathan Toews and Brent Seabrook, as well as a 2010 replica championship ring. Each giveaway will be for the first 10,000 fans at the United Center.
Oct. 18 vs. Blue Jackets: Hossa bobblehead
Nov. 21 vs. Lightning: Seabrook bobblehead
Dec. 15 vs. Wild: Keith bobblehead
Jan. 7 vs. Flames: Toews bobblehead
March 19 vs. Wild: Replica ring
Each night will also have “interactive photo opportunities and historical items on display for fans in the United Center Atrium,” and the Blackhawks’ One More Shift program to honor former players as they skate on the ice. The Blackhawks will conclude their 10th anniversary with an on-ice celebration with players from the 2010 Cup team.
The Blackhawks will also have two other bobblehead nights that are not related to the anniversary nights: Oct. 20 vs. Capitals (radio broadcasters John Weideman and Troy Murray) and Oct. 27 vs. Kings (television analyst Ed Olczyk).
