Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Sky defeated the Sparks 91-81. James McCann hit a grand slam in the White Sox’s 7-2 win over the Angels. The Cubs fell 3-2 to the Pirates on a walk-off. The Bears dropped to 0-2 in the preseason with a 32-13 road loss to the Giants.

On Saturday, the Fire host the Union. The Cubs and White Sox both play.
