There was no news on the Blackhawks front Saturday.

Alex DeBrincat and Dylan Strome threw out first pitches and sang “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the seventh inning stretch Saturday at Wrigley Field.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Fire gave up a late goal in the 86th minute to fall 2-1 to the New England Revolution. The Cubs fell 7-2 to the Nationals. The White Sox were shut out 4-0 by the Rangers. The Bears won their first game of the preseason with a 27-17 victory over the Colts.

On Sunday, the Sky seek their third straight win when they visit the Mercury. The Red Stars head to Portland to play the Thorns. The Cubs and White Sox both play again.
