The Blackhawks defeated the Wild 6-1 for seventh place at the NHL Prospect tournament Tuesday in Traverse City, Michigan.

Max Shalunov (CSKA Moscow) plays Nizhny Novgorod at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, rookie Eloy Jimenez hit his first career grand slam in the White Sox’s 7-3 win over the Royals. The Cubs lost 9-8 to the Padres on a bases loaded walk in the 10th inning.

On Wednesday, the Sky host the Mercury in a single-elimination playoff game. The Red Stars visit the Orland Pride. The Cubs and White Sox both play.
