Blackhawks milestones to watch during 2nd half of 2019-20 NHL season

The Blackhawks begin the second half of their 2019-20 season Saturday against the Coyotes in Glendale, Arizona. Here’s an update on some individual player career milestones to watch during the second half.

Forwards

Alex DeBrincat

  • 200th point — 37
  • 100th goal — 19
  • 100th assist — 18

Patrick Kane

Kane has already moved up the franchise record books in games played to seventh and in goals to fourth. He’s three power-play goals away from passing Jeremy Roenick (108) for fourth.

  • 1,000th point — DONE
  • 600th assist — DONE
  • 400th goal — 19

Dylan Strome

  • 100th point — 3

Jonathan Toews

Toews has already passed Doug Wilson for sixth all time in points in franchise history. Toews eclipsed the 900 games played mark and needs to play in 15 more games to pass Wilson (938) for eighth all time. The Chicago captain needs one short-handed goal to pass Denis Savard and move into a tie with Patrick Sharp for ninth.

Defensemen

Calvin de Haan

De Haan reached two milestones, but will have to wait another season to reach 100 assists as he’s done for the season after having season-ending surgery on his right shoulder.

  • 100th assist — 14
  • 100th point — DONE

Duncan Keith

If Keith gets 20 assists, he’ll pass Steve Larmer (517) for the sixth most in Blackhawks history.

Olli Maatta

  • 100th assist — 8
  • 400 games — DONE

Goaltenders

Corey Crawford

Crawford needs 24 wins to pass Glen Hall (276) for the second most victories in franchise history. This is out of range with the way the Blackhawks are handling the goaltending duties this season. Tony Esposito’s 418 wins is the all time mark.
