The Blackhawks will return to game action in an exhibition game against the Blues on Wednesday, July 29 at Rogers Place in Edmonton. The game will start at 5:30 p.m. and be televised on NBC Sports Network nationally and NBC Sports Chicago Plus in the Chicago market, the team announced Tuesday.
Chicago will start their best-of-five Stanley Cup Qualifier series against the Oilers on Saturday, Aug. 1. The game will begin at 2 p.m. and air on NBC.
The rest of the series will be broadcasted on NBC Sports Chicago with Game 2 and 3 on Monday, Aug. 3 and Wednesday, Aug. 5, respectively. Both games are scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m. and will be on NBCSN outside of the Chicago market.
If necessary, Games 4 and 5 will be Friday, Aug. 7 and Saturday, Aug. 9, respectively, with game times and broadcast information to be announced. Games will be available on NHL.TV.
As the lower seed, the Blackhawks will be the home team for Games 3 and 4 against the Oilers, as well as the exhibition game against St. Louis.
