2020 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs: August 13 schedule, how to watch on TV

We’re back down to a four-game schedule for Thursday.

A four-game schedule full of Game 2s is on the menu for Thursday’s hockey feast.

Up first is the matchup between the Blue Jackets and Lightning, who’ll be looking to opt for a more traditional 60 minutes of hockey following Tuesday’s marathon game that needed a fifth overtime to crown a winner. Brayden Point had the winner in that one, while Columbus goalie Joonas Korpisalo made a ridiculous 85 saves.

Should that one actually finish on time, the other Eastern Conference playoff action Thursday will see the Hurricanes look to even the score after falling 4-3 during Wednesday’s Game 1 — a game that was moved from Tuesday to Wednesday after the Columbus/Tampa game’s wacky events.

In the Western Conference, the Blackhawks have late afternoon start against the Golden Knights, while the nightcap features the Flames against the Stars. Calgary leads that series 1-0 following a 3-2 victory in Game 1, but Dallas may be turning to Ben Bishop in net to reverse its fortunes in Game 2.
