There are two Game 6s in the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Thursday night.

In Toronto, the Islanders can advance to the Eastern Conference Final for the first time since 1993 with a win against the Flyers. New York rallied from a 3-1 deficit in Game 5 to force overtime, but Scott Laughton scored 12:20 into overtime to keep Philadelphia alive. Islanders center Mathew Barzal, who was hit in the face by Claude Giroux’s stick in Game 5, is a game-time decision. Flyers center Sean Couturier is questionable after he did not play the third period following a collision with Barzal in the second period.

In Edmonton, the Golden Knights seek their second Western Conference Final appearance in three years when they face the Canucks. Like the Islanders, Vegas held a 3-1 lead heading into Game 5 on Tuesday, but were not able to close it out. Rookie goaltender Thatcher Demko made 42 saves for the Canucks in a 2-1 win with starter Jacob Markstrom ruled unfit to play.
