Blackhawks forward Ryan Carpenter has been removed from the NHL’s COVID-19 Protocol list, the team announced Saturday. After Carpenter’s removal, there no Blackhawks players on the list at the moment.

Carpenter was added to the list two weeks ago on Jan. 30 and is the third Blackhawks player to exit the list this week after Lucas Wallmark and Adam Boqvist cleared just days ago. Carpenter is eligible to begin team activities immediately, but he’ll likely need a few practices before returning officially to the lineup. The winger had one point in nine games before being placed on the list.

The Blackhawks have also announced that they placed defensemen Connor Murphy on injured reserve, retroactive to Feb. 9. The defesemen has missed two games after it was revealed he had a right hip injury. The placement on IR shouldn’t affect his originally 10-14 day timeline. Murphy has five points (2 G, 3 A) in 13 games this season.
