Ivan Nalimov is expected to rejoin the AHL Rockford IceHogs after terminating his contract with KHL Dinamo Riga, according to this report from Scott Powers of The Athletic.

Nalimov has a .877 save percentage in 14 games this season in the KHL after a .911 save percentage in 24 games last season. He was drafted by the Blackhawks in the sixth round (No. 179 overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft.

Nalimov joined the IceHogs on a PTO last season but did not play. The IceHogs currently have Collin Delia and Cale Morris in net, and Matt Tomkins, who started the season in Rockford, is serving as the Blackhawks’ taxi squad netminder.

Patrick Kane was named the NHL’s second star of the week for the second time this season after scoring three goals and eight points in four games:

Kane scored his 400th career NHL goal on Sunday against the Red Wings. He now has 34 points in 23 games so far this season, tied with Leon Draisaitl for second in the NHL.

Andrei Vasilevskiy of the Lightning was named first star and Mats Zuccarello of the Wild was named third star. Kane was previously second star for the week ending Feb. 7.

The Blackhawks next play on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
