Welcome to the third episode of Monday Morning Deep Dish for the 2021 season here on the Second City Hockey podcast network, your occasional destination for in-depth dives on a particular subject around the Chicago Blackhawks.

Shepard, LBR and Jenelle gathered to discuss what defensive analytics mean to hockey, which ones are worth the attention and what they’d like to see in the future. In addition, the trio discusses what is wrong with the Blackhawks’ current blue-line system and how to fix it. They also discuss a theoretical Langway award and potential Norris contenders, as well as which defensemen they’d like to see on the Blackhawks’ blue line.
