Stanley Cup Playoffs Discussion: June 4

Another pair of playoff games awaits on Friday.

An open thread to discuss all of the day’s Stanley Cup Playoffs action.

The Jets will be without star center Mark Scheifele — who was suspended four games for Jets for charging Evans — as they try to even their series with the Habs in Game 2.

Meanwhile, the Golden Knights need to pull out a victory against the Avs tonight in Vegas if they want a chance to win their series. If they don’t, they’ll be down 3-0 and a comeback from that depth is slim — only four teams in the NHL have accomplished such a feat so far.

Wednesday, June 4

Game 1: Montreal Canadiens at Winnipeg Jets, 6:30 p.m. (USA, CBC, SN)

Game 2: Vegas Golden Knights at Colorado Avalanche, 9 p.m. (NBCSN, CBC, SN)
