Patrick Lalime will get the nod in net Wednesday night vs. Columbus. Lalime earned the win against the Blue Jackets last week stopping 24 of 26 shots.
I’m not sure I understand this move. Despite Lalime playing well against Columbus last time out, Nikolai Khabibulin had a very strong night against Detroit and it was definitely a performance for him to build some confidence from. If I were Savard, I would definitely give Khabby the start tomorrow night.
