The official site reports:
Yanic Perreault and Sergei Samsonov will be back in the lineup Wednesday on a line with Martin Lapointe.
Good. Samsonov, though he has just 4 points in 20 games, deserves to be in the lineup because he at least creates offense and has plenty of skill. Sooner or later, he will score a goal, and when that happens, I think the floodgates will open and we’ll see him put away quite a few before it’s all said and done.
Perreault has had his own troubles scoring as well, with just 3 goals in 25 games, but he has been such a master at faceoffs and I don’t think Savard should have been healthy scratching him at all.
