One of the many patron saints of this blog, Dave Attell, along with his short-lived but wonderful show Insomniac, showed the world how the booze-soaked, cigarette-addled, sleep-deprived, foul-mouthed miscreants of the world act when most of it is asleep. So basically, it’s what a documentary of the three of us would look like. Attell has long sported a beard that he’d hoped would make him look tough – “like a bouncer or Israli or something”, but more closely resembles “Andre Agassi with a drinking problem”- which is probably how we’re all going to look by the end of this series ourselves.
