Artemi Panarin is apparently teaching Duncan Keith to sing in Russian

It’s taken some time for Artemi Panarin to adjust to living in the United States over the past two years, but now that he’s signed long-term with the Blackhawks, the winger seems to be settling in. That means bonding with your teammates, and Panarin is apparently doing that by teaching Duncan Keith to sing in Russian.

Канадский #розенбаум 😂 Canadian #singer @dk_2_

Now, I cannot read or speak Russian, so I have no idea what Keith is singing there, but Google tells me the first word of Panarin’s caption is “Canadian” and the second word (in the hashtag) is “Rosenbaum.” Using my brilliant detective skills, this indicates to me that Keith is singing a song from famous Russian artist Alexander Rosenbaum. (Note: this could be totally wrong, please tell me if it is!)

And hey! Keith’s voice is not half bad.

The best part of the video, however, is probably watching Panarin joyfully bob his head while his veteran teammate sings. Look at the satisfaction on this young man’s face:

Now that Panarin is teaching Keith to sing famous Russian music, we hope he returns the favor and makes Panarin learn to sing Canadian music. “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion, anyone???
