Blackhawks Acquire Handzus from Sha-arks
According to NHL.com the Blackhawks have acquired veteran center Michal Handzus from the San Jose Sharks. The Blackhawks are supposedly giving a 4th round pick in the 2013 draft.
Handzus is a UFA at the end of the year, only has 2 points and is a -9 in 28 games so far this season. Although it looks like Handzus could help at the dot winning 55% of his draws. We will have to see where he slots in but I have to think he will at least get a shot on the 2nd line and Bolland will move back to his 3rd line roll.
