Blackhawks’ Marian Hossa leaves with lower-body injury vs. Ducks

Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa left Saturday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks with a lower-body injury.

The injury occurred in the second period when Ducks defenseman Hampus Lindholm hip-checked Hossa into the boards. But it appeared the injury occurred on the hit, not the collision with board.

Hossa left the ice and barely put pressure on his left leg. He was helped off by training staff and headed to the locker room. There are no updates on his condition.

Hossa, 37, has 10 goals and 18 assists in 53 games this season.
