Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane selling Trump Tower condo for $2.15M

Chicago Blackhawks star winger Patrick Kane put his two-bedroom, 2,076-square-foot condominium in the Trump International Hotel and Tower on the market for $2.15 million on Tuesday, reports the Chicago Tribune.

Kane, 27, bought the unit on the 33rd floor at 401 N. Wabash Ave for $2.06 million in September 2008.

The condo has city, river, and lake views and includes luxury Wolf and Miele appliances, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and two-and-a-half bathrooms with limestone, slate and marble finishes, according to the listing.

Kane is the second resident the building has lost this month after Chicago Bulls’ Pau Gasol signed with the San Antonio Spurs. Gasol rented a unit during the season, while his former teammate Derrick Rose has yet to list his unit after being dealt to the New York Knicks.

The 2016 Art Ross and Hart Trophy winner isn’t leaving the area though. According to the Tribune, local real estate agents have seen Kane and Chezi Rafaeli, his listing agent, looking at single-family homes. Kane owns a home in Buffalo but has decided to spend this summer in Chicago.

The three-time Stanley Cup champion, Kane signed an eight-year, $84 million deal with the Hawks in 2014.
