“F***in’ right, Chicago!”: The best moments from the 2015 Blackhawks Stanley Cup parade

The Blackhawks celebrated their 2015 Stanley Cup with a parade through the streets of the city on Thursday morning, and while Chicago’s gotten used to this over the last six years, that doesn’t mean the party is any less crazy.

Most of the great moments during the event happened after the actual parade at Soldier Field, where a packed house celebrated with a rally. And yes, that means there were microphones.

Corey Crawford didn’t disappoint. “F***in’ right, Chicago!”

For some reason, they let Kris Versteeg sing again. He closed out the rally with partner Joakim Nordstrom, begging the crowd to join them in song.

The rally’s most heart-felt moment, and probably its most memorable moment, came when Versteeg stepped up to award the team’s championship belt to CJ Reif, the son of Clint Reif.

Defenseman Kimmo Timonen had another chance to lift the Cup in front of the Chicago crowd.

And Patrick Kane issued a strong warning.

And here are a bunch of other images, video and observations from media and fans during a wonderful day in the City of Chicago — both inside Soldier Field and outside on the parade route.

Just a kid from Chicago.
